REGISTRATION IS ALMOST FULL!!! LESS THAN 50 SLOTS LEFT!
Registration is now open and this site will be updated often with up to the minute information regarding the 2014 GKT!
We are looking for sponsors, as well as race day volunteers. Please email email@example.com if interested.
Please see the results in the link below. Again, we are all volunteers and did the best we could to ensure the participants completed the correct number of laps. However, it is very difficult to keep track of almost 200 6-16 year olds. And, it is very difficult for a young child to remember the exact number of laps completed in a race (I mean how many of you forgot what swim lap you were on during your swim training!!!!). So, with that said, please understand I will not be disqualifying any athletes! I am very proud of all of the kids who competed yesterday and I hope you enjoyed it enough to participate again next year. Thank you for participating in the 2013 Greenwich Kids Triathlon!!
Good luck to everyone participating in the 11th Annual Greenwich Kids Triathlon tomorrow morning at Greenwich High School. Come by around 8:00 and cheer on these amazing young athletes (ages 6-16)!!
Also, THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all of our generous sponsors and volunteers! This event would not be possible without your continued support!
(Results will be posted on this site immediately following the finish of the event.)
Good luck to all 2013 participants!

The Annual Greenwich Kids Triathlon will be held on Sunday, June 9th, 2013.
Sponsorship Opportunities Available!
(Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested in becoming a sponsor).
As you cross the finish line of an Iron Man Triathlon, the announcer says your name, age, where you are from, and then says “Congratulations, You are an IRONMAN!!” It is one of the greatest feelings in the world to hear that after completing a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, followed by a 26.2 marathon run! Well, although the distances were slightly shorter this morning, I would like to say to everyone who participated in the 2012 Greenwich Kids Triathlon, “Congratulations, You are a Triathlete!” You should feel proud of your accomplishment and hopefully it sparked an interest to compete again next year.
Thank you again to all of the volunteers! (Including those that just stepped in to offer a helping hand) What a special community we live in. Thank you!
Please support our Sponsors throughout the year and thank them for supporting our event!
Finally, probably the only reason you are checking this site, results will be posted shortly.
Thank you and good luck in all that you do…Bill Bogardus
(PS: As a Race Director, I want the participants, as well as the spectators to have an excellent experience. I have already thought about ways to improve for next year. Please feel free to email me with suggestions, comments, questions, concerns, etc. I welcome ALL feedback. (email@example.com)
